Food & Beverage Industry
We provide precision chilling solutions for the Food & Beverage industry, where temperature control is essential for maintaining product quality, process stability, and production efficiency. Our systems are widely used across beverage bottling plants, breweries, dairy processing units, bakeries, and packaged food manufacturing facilities.
Beverage Industry Applications
In Preform and PET Bottle Blowing, Water Chillers supply chilled water at 10°C to 12°C, which is circulated through moulds to remove heat generated during the forming process. Maintaining stable mould temperature ensures uniform bottle shape, consistent wall thickness, improved clarity, and faster production cycles.
In Beverage Cooling and Carbonation, an Online (Instant) Chiller—typically glycol-based—is used to rapidly cool process water through a Plate Heat Exchanger (PHE). Chilled glycol at approximately -2°C is circulated through one side of the PHE, while water from the RO plant enters from the other side. Heat exchange takes place, and water exits at approximately 2°C before being supplied to the carbonation tank.
Maintaining low water temperature is critical for efficient carbonation, as it improves CO₂ solubility, enhances beverage quality, and ensures consistent taste and texture while reducing gas losses and improving filling efficiency
This instant chilling principle is also widely used in brewery plants for process cooling and in dairy plants, where controlled temperatures are essential for product stability and quality.
Food Processing Applications
In Bakery Applications such as bread and biscuits, chilled water at approximately 2°C is supplied through a Plate Heat Exchanger and added to dough mixers. This helps control dough temperature during mixing, ensuring optimal yeast activity, preventing overheating, and maintaining consistent texture and product quality.
In Sauce and Emulsion Processing (such as ketchup, mayonnaise, and similar products), chilled water is circulated through jacketed vessels to remove heat generated during mixing and processing. This ensures uniform consistency, stable emulsification, and prevents product degradation.
Chilling systems are also used in FRK rice plants, corn puff lines, and other food processing applications, where chilled water is circulated through equipment and process lines to maintain stable temperatures, improve efficiency, and ensure consistent output quality.
